Kenneth J. Kush

Kush - Kenneth James, 77, Concordia at Arbutus Park Manor, formerly of Johnstown, died August 21, 2026 at the manor. Born June 29, 1949, in Johnstown, son of John A. and Angela (Seftick) Kush. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by loving wife, Nora (Kells) Kush; daughters, Jennifer Kush, Angela (Michael) Rager; grandsons, Zakaree Rager (Caitlyn), Ian Rager and Elias Rizkallah; great-grandson, Beau Rager; brother, David (Patricia) Kush; sisters, Marianne (Kush) Kralik; Karen (Paul) Honchar; sisters-in-law, Betty (Kells) Borton and Barbara Carmichael; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Ken was a 1967 graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School and a 1971 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked as a Professional Electrical Engineer at Crown American Corporation. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and he loved all the years that our family went to the beach together. The family will receive friends from 3-7 p.m. Friday, August 28, 2026 at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where vigil will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 29, 2026 at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Fr. David S. Peles Pastor. Committal, Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family suggests memorial contributions to Concordia at Arbutus Park Manor, 207 Ottawa St., Johnstown, PA 15904 in memory of Kenneth J. Kush.
