Kayleigh M. Tallyen

Tallyen – Kayleigh M., 15, Conemaugh Township, went to be with the Lord on June 22 at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Born on November 18, 2003 in Johnstown, daughter of Doug R. and Lori A. (Oshersky) Tallyen. Preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Paul R. Oshersky; paternal grandfather, Stanley R. Tallyen. In addition to her loving parents, she is survived by her paternal great grandmother, Wilma  Gindlesperger, Richland; maternal grandmother, Andrea L. Oshersky, Salix; paternal grandmother, Beverly A. Tallyen, Richland; aunts, Jennifer L. (Scott) Sinclair, Beallsville, PA, Tracy C. (Keith) Onderko, Richland, and Lori A. Morningstar, Richland; uncle, Robert W. Oshersky, Salix, numerous cousins, including special cousins, Jake and Zach Sinclair, Randi Deneen, Kara Morningstar, and Ryan Onderko, many friends, and her furry friends, Frisky and Louie. Kayleigh attended Conemaugh Township High School. She enjoyed drawing, video games, the outdoors, and fishing with her dad. Kayleigh loved all animals, but mostly loved spending time with her friends and family. Friends will be received from 3-7 p.m. on Thursday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. on Friday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. Phyllis W. Diamond officiating. Interment will be at Custer Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be directed to the Humane Society of Somerset County, 204 Whitetail Rd, Somerset, PA 15501 or to UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, 4401 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15224 in memory of Kayleigh.
