Kathy A. Watts

Watts – Kathy A., 68, Richland, went to be with the Lord on July 7, 2019 at her home. Born on April 15, 1951 in Chicago, IL., daughter of the late Wilbert and Elizabeth (Fedigan) Tennant.  She is survived by her loving children, Jessica L. (Ben) Bock, Montenegro, and Joshua H. R. Watts, Johnstown; grandchildren, Oliver, Nora, and Liljana Kathy; brother Marvin (Chris) Tennant, Chicago; and many friends. Kathy was a graduate of The University of Illinois. She retired from Windham Elementary School in Daleville, AL after serving for over 40 years as a teacher. Kathy was a faithful follower of Jesus. She enjoyed reading, working with children, and studying the Bible. Kathy loved being a mother and grandmother. At Kathy’s request, there will be no public viewing. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 10 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 11 a.m. on Friday at Oakland United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Randall W. Bain officiating. Private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Memorial contributions may be directed to Oakland United Methodist Church, 1504 Bedford Street, Johnstown, PA 15902 in memory of Kathy. Online condolences may be posted to www.wharrisfuneralhome.com. Cremation by Laurel Highlands Crematory at Harris Funeral Home.

I only recently have gotten to know Kathy and regret that our friendship was only beginning! She was such a faithful, giving woman, full of the love of God.! We will miss her in our Bible Study group and church! Love to the family!
