Karen Marie Krouse

KROUSE- Karen Marie (Weaver), 72, passed away on July 3 at home surrounded by her family after her long courageous battle with cancer. Born on March 3, 1947, to the late Freeman J and Marie (Claycomb) Weaver. Also preceded in death by her stepmom Bernice (Blough-Krouse).  Karen is survived by her loving husband Theodore “Ted” Krouse of 56 years; children Kimberly (Rick) Daniels, Kelly (Robert) McKissick, Theodore Todd (Sue) Krouse and Kristy Marie (John) Furfari; grandchildren, Kayla (David), Michael (Lindsey), Karielle, Katlin (Troy), Karli (Alec), Eric (Kelsey), and Karagin. “Gigi” great grandma to Kayonna, Kaysin, Kaydren, Elleanor, Bristol, and Audrey. Step grandchildren, Kelsie and Bryan; and step great granddaughter, Adalyn; Sister to Phyllis (Orville) Cadwallder of Phoenix, AZ, Shirley (Robert) Pavlosky of Davidsville PA; and sister in-law to Barbra (Minnow) Takaki of New Jersey, and Kenneth (Betty) Krouse of Johnstown PA; and many nieces and nephews. Retired from Memorial Medical Center. Karen and Ted enjoyed going to the beach with their friends Sam, Donna, Duane, and Emmy. Karen was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed. Friends received from 10 am to time of service at 11 am Saturday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Private inurnment at Richland Cemetery Mausoleum.
