Karen R. Crum

Crum – Karen R., 67, Sidman, passed away on October 12, 2019 at Conemaugh Medical Center. Born on August 4, 1952 in New Paris, PA, daughter of the late Philip C., Lydia (Bingham) Benna, and her beloved Papillon, Susie. She is survived by her lifelong partner, Daniel C. Crum, Johnstown; daughters, Jennifer L. (Matthew) Gallatin, Red Lion, PA, and Jacqueline E. Crum, Altoona, PA; step son, Andrew M. Savering, Manor, PA; grandchildren, Jadyn E., Johnathan M., and Sophia M. Crum, Ayden C. Gallatin; several nieces, nephews, and her beloved grand-dogs, Bear, Piper, Bruschi, and Ginger. Karen was a 1970 graduate of Forest Hills High School. She was employed in retail sales for over 30 years. Karen enjoyed going to Ocean City, MD, yard work, and collecting Hallmark ornaments. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. At Karen’s request, there will be no public viewing. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of the celebration of her life at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with Pastor James Gay officiating.
