PORCHER---Julius “Lamar” Glen, 41, Richland Township, passed away on May 26, 2025, at home. He was affectionately known as “Stunna,” and was born on July 2, 1983, to Lori A. Porcher and Glendon G. King (wife Lisa), and was lovingly raised by his grandparents, Delores and Julius C. Porcher Jr., who played a significant role in his upbringing. He is survived by his former wife, Jamie Hayduk, and their three beloved daughters: Tavia J. Porcher, Makayla N. Porcher, and Mya S. Porcher, along with his cherished grandson, Roman. He also leaves behind his devoted mother, Lori A. Porcher; his father, Glendon G. King; and his dedicated cousin, Daria Auguste, along with her children, Marcus and Sasha. Lamar is further survived by his grandfather, Julius C. Porcher Jr.; his paternal grandmother, Lena King; his uncle and aunt, David C. Porcher and Donna Baxter Porcher; and his loving companion, Cheryl Blankenship, and her son, Cameron and former fiancé, Jennifer Hause and her son, Kayden. He also leaves behind his brother, Antoine King (Wendy) of Boston; and his sisters, Takijah King of Boston, Ebony “Nicole” Rodgers (Pastor Floyd) of Alabama, Elisha “Shay” Tyra of Boston, and Kyaisiah Brown of Boston and a host of loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins and many friends who will forever hold his memory in their hearts. Lastly, he will be missed by his unforgettable pet alligator, Jeezy; his beloved cats, Oscar and BB; and his “security guard,” Chewy. Rooted in faith from an early age, Lamar joined St. James Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as an usher under the guidance of his grandmother, Delores A. Porcher. A proud 2001 graduate of Greater Johnstown High School, he went on to attend St. Francis College on a football scholarship before enlisting in the U.S. Air Force. He served honorably for seven years, first in Frankfurt, Germany, then in California. After his military service, Lamar moved to Florida before eventually returning home to Johnstown. Even after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2013, he refused to let the disease limit him. He embraced life fully from jumping out of planes, taking trips, and creating unforgettable moments with his daughters. Known for his love of cars, he worked in auto sales at a Blairsville dealership, where his energy and charm made a lasting impression. Lamar had a fearless spirit and a deep passion for adventure, investing, and real estate. Through his popular #motivationmonday posts on Facebook, he inspired others to live boldly. Above all, he was dedicated to building a lasting legacy for his daughters while always cherishing the steadfast support of his loving mother, Lori, who stood by him through every chapter of his journey. The family will receive friends from 2 to 7 p.m., Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland and again from 10 a.m. until time of Homegoing service at 11 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2025, at Harris Funeral Home with Rev.
