Joyce L. Norris

NORRIS – Joyce Lenore (Adam), 78, went to be with her LORD on Aug. 14, 2025. She was born on June 25,1947, daughter of Richard and Pearl (Weston) Adam. Preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Patricia Adam. Joyce is survived by her husband, John, of 57 years; her brother, Roger Adam, Clearfield, PA; children, Adam Norris (Mindy), and Amy Figard (Scott) She is also survived by her grandchildren; Tucker, Riley, Tristen, Cy and Reine. Also, many nieces and nephews. Joyce had many friends and a loving extended family, including her quilting and prayer groups. Her family and friends were her greatest joy. Joyce graduated from Clearfield High School in 1965 and the Clearfield School of Nursing in 1968. She has practiced nursing in a number of locations. She loved to help people through nursing. Her favorite job of all was watching her grandsons when they were growing up. She was a devoted and faithful member of the Westmont Presbyterian Church, where she poured her heart into everything she did, especially the Prayers and Squares Ministry, which she and other women of the church started in 2005. The Ministry was able to touch countless lives through the quilts and prayers. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the start of the Service at 12 Noon, on Saturday, 8/23/2025 at the Westmont Presbyterian Church, 601 Luzerne Street, Johnstown, PA. Rev. Carole Isley-Corey and Denise Todero, ALP officiating. All are invited to a luncheon in Fellowship Hall following the service.
