Keiser – Joyce L., 69, Richland, passed away unexpectedly on April 21, 2025. Born on July 8, 1955 in Johnstown, daughter of Ross D. and Virginia R. (Margroum) Keiser. Preceded in death by her parents, and sister-in-law, Elaine Keiser
She is survived by her loving brothers, James A. Keiser, Fontana, CA, William R. Keiser, Wilmington, NC, and Edward E. Keiser (Lynn), Cranberry Township, PA; nieces, Jennifer (Ken) Boots, Beaver Falls, PA, Sarah Keiser, Butler, PA, nephews, Thomas (Dana) Keiser, Willow Springs NC, great nieces and nephews, and many loving friends.
Joyce was a 1973 graduate of Richland High School, she was briefly employed by the FBI, and later the IRS, but instead choose to devote her life as a Christian Missionary. Joyce traveled to and lived in many countries, such as India, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and others. Joyce was tireless in her commitment to preach the Gospel, helping others and making lifelong friends. After years of missionary service she moved to the DC area where she was employed as an office manager and became a caretaker to a loving family. Later in life Joyce returned to her home in Johnstown. Joyce kept busy helping others and enjoyed long walks. She enjoyed Christian contemporary music, singing and gardening. Joyce remained a devoted Christian and served as the worship leader for the Apostolic Kingdom of God (AKOG), members of whom she loved and who miss her dearly. She was our family communicator, a gracious host and a loving soul who will be missed by all who knew her.
At Joyce's request, there will be no public viewing. Visitation will be held from noon until 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 22nd, at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Inurnment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family suggests contributions be directed to a charity of one’s choice in memory of Joyce.
