Martella, Joseph R., 57, of Richland. Died April 27, 2017, at Richland Health & Rehabilitation Center. Born June 6, 1959, in Johnstown. Son John C. and Rose Marie (Metz) Martella. Preceded in death by Mother. Survived by father; siblings, John (Debra), Michael (Stephanie), Maria (Peter) Gerula; and nieces and nephews. 1977 graduate of Bishop McCort High School. Joseph was a part of the family business “The Alibi Restaurant and Lounge” which opened in 1983. Joe was a personable bartender with a large following and a life-long avid fan of “Pitt” athletics. He was a supporter of Special Olympics. Friends received 4 to 8 PM Sunday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM Monday at St. Clement Catholic Church. Fr. William B. Rosenbaum, Pastor. Committal at Grandview Cemetery.
