John Anthony Pfaff

PFAFF---John Anthony, 81, Johnstown, went to the Lord on January 12, 2023. Born May 12, 1941, in Sewickley son of John and Laura (Shelsky) Pfaff. Preceded in death by parents; and loving wife of 46 years, Margaret Kandy (Burkhart) Pfaff. Survived by sister, Joanie (Pfaff) and husband, James Miller; brother, Gary Pfaff, sister, Debra (Pfaff) and husband, Keith Christmann; and brother-in-law, Robert Burkhart and wife, DiAnna who was John’s caretaker. John was a high school graduate and retired from Walmart where he was a cashier. He enjoyed puzzle books, singing in the choir and activities at his church. He also enjoyed his time with his many pets. The family is being served by Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Cremation by Laurel Highlands Crematory at Harris Funeral Home. Committal will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 27, 2023 at Richland Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the Humane Society of Cambria County, 743 Galleria Drive Ext., Johnstown, PA 15904 in memory of John A. Pfaff.
