John D Kendera

Kendera, John D., 56, of Dale Borough, passed away on December 20, 2010 at his residence. He was born on February 6, 1954 in Johnstown. Son of the late John J. Kendera and Mary (Koreltz) Kendera, Thomas Mills, PA. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his brother, Blaine. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Monica M. (Concannon) Kendera; daughter, Angela M. Kendera, Pittsburgh; siblings, Donna wife of Dr. James Alexander, Geistown, Mark, Windber, and James married to the former Leslie Dahlstrom, Tiverton, RI and numerous nieces and nephews. John was a 1972 graduate of Conemaugh Township High School. He was employed at Intermedia Marketing. John was a member of St. John Gaulbert Cathedral. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading and singing with the church choir. Friends received from 2-7 P.M. on Wednesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 A.M. on Thursday at St. John Gaulbert Cathedral, Very Rev. James F. Crookston. Committal will be at St John Cemetery.
