Geibig, Joanne M., 71, of Richland Twp. Died Aug. 29, 2017, at Conemaugh Medical Center surrounded by loving family. Born Sept 17, 1945, in Buffalo, NY. Daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth “Betty” (Bocci) Coco. Preceded in death by mother; and grandmother, Jean Druzak. Survived by husband of 45 years, Ronald T. Geibig; children, Tina (Robert) Dudinack; Scott (Wendy) Geibig; Kimberly (Matthew) Amigh; James (Jennifer) Geibig; and Matthew Geibig. Grandchildren, Jay, Brandon, Tyler, Madison, Jared, Luke and Eli. Sister of Cindy Kasuba and Jerry Coco. Graduate of Richland High School. Former long-time member of Geistown Grace Brethren Church. Retired owner of East Hills Tastee Freeze and Sassy’s Restaurant ( 17 years). Joanne enjoyed cooking and her greatest accomplishment was her children and grandchildren. No public visitation, however relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral service at 11 AM Friday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Pastor David McGee, officiating. Entombment at Richland Cemetery Mausoleum. Family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at Conemaugh Medical Center, especially Dr. Nathaniel.
