Jessie Y. Berkebile

Berkebile – Jessie Y., 93, Richland, formerly of Wheeling, WV, went to be with the Lord on February 16, 2019 at Seimon’s Lakeview Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Somerset. Born on March 27, 1925 in South Fork, daughter of Hiram S. and Merle E. (Burnheimer) Yoder. Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Glenn, Carl, and Paul; sisters, Evelyn Yoder, Lucy Hemker, Mildred Wingard, Janet Bulvin, and Winifred Yoder. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Lou Yoder, Richland; numerous nieces and nephews. Jessie was employed with the Trane Corporation, Falls Church, VA, for over 25 years. She was a member of Mt. Hope United Methodist Church. Jessie enjoyed gardening, working outdoors, reading, traveling, and watching NFL games. Friends will be received from noon until time of service at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Mt. Hope United Methodist Church, with the Rev Larry G. Rowe officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
