Salem, Jean Mae, 97, Geistown, passed away September 17, 2025 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born August 16, 1928, in Hooversville, daughter of the late Patsy R. and Emma (DiFrancesco) Leone. Preceded in death by husband, Kenneth G. Salem and brother, Joseph R. Leone, sister, Nancy P. DeMarco, nephew, Ericallen Grandas and her beloved Schnauzer, “Heaven Sent AngelMia” Survived by sister, Eileen P. Grandas, Hooversville, brother-in-law, Emilio DeMarco, sisters-in-law Carolyn Trefts and Nancy Salem, Godson, Rick Burk and wife, Sharon; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews and a great-grand-niece and great-grand-nephews. Jean was a 1946 graduate of Hooversville High School. She retired from Bestform Foundations with 25 years of service. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 1 p.m., Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with Pastor Jon Estes, Chaplain from Arbutus Park Manor, officiating.
