Janette L. Main

Main – Janette L., 65, Johnstown, surrounded by her sons, went to be with the Lord on February 10, 2024. Born on October 22, 1958 in Johnstown, daughter of Donald and Meriam (Harvey) Dishong. Preceded in death by her parents; and husband David Main.

She is survived by her loving sons, Michael (Jennifer) McClafferty, Hagerstown, MD, and Shane (Kathren) McClafferty, Owings Mills, MD; grandchildren Matilda, Olivia, and Donovan; sister Kimberly (David) Hunt; brother David Dishong, and several nieces and great nieces and nephews.

Janette was a 1976 graduate of Greater Johnstown Area Vocational-Technical High School. She was a home daycare provider for several years. Janette enjoyed coloring apps, jigsaw puzzles, reading and watching movies. She also had an affinity for flowers and cats. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. 

The family is being served at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. A Small Memorial Service will be held for family at West Hills Community Church on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at 1 PM. The family suggests contributions be directed to the Humane Society of Cambria County in memory of Janette. Online condolences may be posted to www.wharrisfuneralhome.com.
