Janet M. Patcher

Patcher – Janet, M., 81, Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on November 26, 2020. Born on June 8, 1939 in Johnstown, daughter of George and Anna (Kmett) Kresak. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, John P. Patcher Sr., and brother, George. She is survived by her loving children, John P. Jr., Richland Township and Jo Ann (Roger) Becker, Johnstown, Somerset County; granddaughter, Kayla L. Becker, Johnstown, Somerset County; sister, Betty Krents, Richland Township and several nieces and nephews. Janet was a graduate of Johnstown Catholic High School. She retired from GTE/Verizon after 35 years of service as a Facility Assigner. Janet was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. She enjoyed watching softball games, trips to the casinos with her late husband and sister, as well as traveling to Florida. Janet loved cooking and spending time with family and friends. At Janet’s request, there will be no public viewing. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Fr. David S. Peles, Pastor. Committal will be at Richland Mausoleum. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
