James W. Rhoades

RHOADES----James W., 79, Richland Township, passed away on August 2, 2025. Born December 30, 1945 in Johnstown, son of Richard C. and Phyllis L. Naugle. Preceded in death by parents; loving wife, Barbara M. Rhoades and brothers, Robert and Terry. Survived by daughter, Carol A., wife of Steve Hudack and son, Jimmy Rhoades, Woodbridge, VA; grandchildren, Stephen Hudack and wife, Kate and Tyler Hudack; and great-granddaughter, Brinlee Hudack. Also survived by sister-in-law, Maryann Rhoades and Elizabeth Rhoades; nephews, Tim and wife, Keri and Nick and their children, Jacob, Kaitlyn and Alison. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Zeus. James was a US Army veteran having served in Vietnam. After his honorable discharge from the US Army, he worked for Laurel Food Systems and retired from there after many years of service. Private Funeral service will be held at the discretion of the family and is being handled by Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
