Custer, James H., 75, Madisonville, TN., formerly of Richland Township. Died Mar. 27, 2011, in Tennessee. Born Jan. 2, 1936, in Johnstown. Son of the late J. Heil and Margaret (Leffler) Custer. Also preceded in death by sister, Dawn Warnert. Survived by wife of 23 years, the former Ava Brosch and these sisters; Barbara, wife of Don Zimmer, West Demoines, Iowa; Katharine McClane, Robinson, IL; and Brenda, wife of David Gordon, Windber. Several nieces and nephews.  Army Veteran of Korea. 32 Years service with the Pennsylvania National Guard Reserve. Retired Postal Carrier with 34 years’ service. Family and friends will be received from 12 noon to 2 pm Saturday, at  the time of Memorial Service, at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Rev. Keith Dunn, officiating.
