Hilda S. Guyan

Guyan, Hilda S., 99, of Richland Township, passed away on August 23, 2019 at Cambria Care Center. Born on January 6, 1920 in Johnstown. Daughter of David and Sophia (Beyers) Lintner. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Guyan who passed away in 1993; siblings, Frank, Agnes Sedlemeyer, Joseph, Adolph, Robert, Florence Roman, Margaret Hart and Clara Rosenbaum. Hilda was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Hilda was 1938 Graduate of Dale High School. She retired from employment at International Ladies Garment Workers Union, where she was employed as the Office Manager. Hilda was an active member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening and reading. Hilda will be remembered as a kind and loving sister. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Father Peter Crowe.
