Hazel E. Letchworth

LETCHWORTH – Hazel E. (Britton), 95, Chambersburg, formerly of East Taylor Township, went to be with the Lord on December 22 2025, at Menno Haven Health Care Center, Chambersburg PA. Born on January 1, 1930, in  Johnstown, daughter of the late John and Virginia (Utzler) Britton. Preceded in death by husband, Edward C. Letchworth and son, Bruce E. Letchworth. Survived by loving daughter, Elaine V., wife of Jonathan M. Holodynsky, Chambersburg, PA. Hazel was a Graduate of Conemaugh High School. She was a member of the Johnstown Alliance Church. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m., Monday, December 29, 2025, at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. Carl Irwin officiating. Private burial will be at Headricks Union Cemetery. Hazel's family suggests donations to the Johnstown Alliance Church, 100 Arbutus Ave. Johnstown, Pa. 15904 in memory of Hazel E. Letchworth.
