Grant G. Moore

Moore – Grant G., 88, Windber, went to be with the Lord on September 11, 2026. Born on February 4, 1938 in Portage, son of Harry and Peral (Hess) Moore. Preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Inez (Kunsman) Moore; sister, Roberta Marz, and daughter-in-law, Christie Felix.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Judith L. (Yannutz) Felix-Moore; daughter, Lori (Kevin) McMullen, St. Louis, MI; step sons, John (Pam) Felix, Johnstown and David Felix, Clayton, NC; granddaughters, Kelsie (J.C.) Felix-Ammons and Allyson Felix; great-granddaughter, Margaret “Maggie” Ammons; great-grandson, Grayson Ammons, and several nieces and nephews.

Grant was a 1957 graduate of Portage High School. He later graduated from University of Pittsburgh earning a degree in engineering. Grant was a member of Belmont Community Church. He retired from PENELEC after 33 years of service as an engineer. Grant was a member of Johnstown RC Flying Club and the AMA Club. He enjoyed building airplanes, geo-caching, and photography.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22nd, at Belmont Community Church, with the Rev. Thomas W. Moore officiating.
