Grace S. Thomas

THOMAS - Grace S., 106, Richland, formally of Davidsville, went to be with the Lord December 23, 2020. Born on October 20, 1914 in Seanor, daughter of William E. and Louisa (Paminski) Solden. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 60 years, Ernest; brothers, Henry, Carl, Alfred, Walter, and sister, Mary. Survived by loving daughter, Genevieve, wife of Arthur Mack, Davidsville, and grandson, Scott Mack married to Kristen (Dunsmore) Oakland; great-granddaughters, Kasmira, Solenna, and Sybella. Grace was a member of Oakland United Methodist Church. She will always be remembered for her pleasant disposition and smile. Grace’s family would like to thank all the staff at Arbutus Park. At Grace’s request, there will be no public viewing. Family and friends are invited to attend a committal service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. Randall W. Bain officiating. Private burial will be at Richland Cemetery. Those who wish, please make donations to Arbutus Park Retirement Community in memory of Grace.
