GDULA---George A., 68, Dunlo, passed away on April 29, 2023 at Forest Hills Personal Care Home. Born February 25, 1955, in Johnstown, son of George G. and Margaret M. (Musilek) Gdula. Preceded in death by parents and sister, Linda Palmer. Survived by brothers and sisters, Elizabeth Coyle (Patrick), Kearneysville, WV; Gregory Gdula, Johnstown; Loretta Holsopple (Paul), Nicktown; Gary Gdula (Nancy Schwartz), Wildwood MO; and several nieces and nephews. George was a 1973 graduate of Greater Johnstown Vo-Tech and numerous electronics and auto mechanic courses. He was a skilled auto mechanic and an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed mushroom and game hunting as well as fishing and boating. Member of the Dunlo Rod & Gun Club and Beaverdale Sportsmen. He pitched for many years in the Forest Hills Men’s Softball League. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Forest Hills Personal Care Home for their kindness to George. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, May 5, 2023 at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, followed by a time of sharing at 6 p.m. Cremation by Laurel Highlands Crematory at Harris Funeral Home.
