George A. Follmar

FOLLMAR---George A., 94, Richland, passed away April 4, 2023 at Amber Springs at Laurel Wood Care Center. Born February 14, 1929, in Johnstown, son of George and Stella (Heider) Follmar. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Ruth I. (Hahn) and daughter, Carol Ann Apple. Survived by daughter, Denise “Robin” Matthews and husband, Bill, Dilltown; granddaughter, Tracy A. Matthews, New York and brother, John D. Follmar, Richland. George was retired from the Bethlehem Steel Corp. carpentry shop and was a cabinet maker who loved woodworking. At George’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Entombment, Richland Cemetery Mausoleum. The family is being served by Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
