LESOSKY---Frank W., 77, Richland Township, went to be with the Lord on September 30, 2025. Born October 15, 1947, in Windber, son of William and Pauline (Molnar) Lesosky. Preceded in death by parents and in-laws, Rudolph and Gillette Plesnick. Survived by wife of 49 years, Lucine; daughter, Dr. Christine M, wife of Philip Rohanna, Ebensburg; Eric P. Lesosky and wife, Stephanie, Johnstown; granddaughters, Aubrey Lynn and Brynn Elizabeth Lesosky; brother, John, Ohio; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lynn and Kathy Plesnick, Everett. Frank was a 1965 graduate of Richland High School and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a degree in aviation maintenance. He was part of the crew on the C5 test program. He served in the USAF and PANG 171st Refueling Wing in Pittsburgh. He served two tours in Vietnam and a short tour in Saudi Arabia in Operation Desert Shield. He then enrolled in the ready reserves making him eligible to be recalled to service until retirement age of 60. He retired as an E7 Master Sgt. Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church and the American Legion. He served as Vice-President and President of the St. Benedict PTA and as a band dad for BMHS for 9 years. He retired as a Manager in the PLCB with 27 years of service, then as a valet at Conemaugh Hospital. He enjoyed golfing, camping, hunting and traveling. He followed the Pens, Steelers and Pirates. The family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, October 6, 2025 at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Pastor David S. Peles. Committal, Richland Cemetery with military graveside rites by Menoher VFW, Post #155 Ritual Team. The family wishes to thank St. Jude’s Haven and AseraCare Hospice for their loving care.
