Frances Marie Stephens

Stephens – Frances (White), 91, entered into eternal rest at home on Sunday, May 18, 2025 in Johnstown. Born on February 10, 1934 in Johnstown, daughter of Samuel White and Oneil Joy (Mallie) Holmes. Preceded in death by her Parents, son Reginald Stephens, Brother Sylvester Holmes. William D. Stephens and William “Tunnie” Roebuck.  She is survived by her loving children; Lance (Wanda), Carl (Darlene), Donald, Rhonda (Curtis) Morris, Deatrice (Kevin) King from Ohio, Marie, Pamela, Dorothea (Charles), Jerry (Beth), Stephanie (Rodney) Howling, Randy from Virginia; Adopted sister Sabrina Joy Albritton from Florida, Michael, Wanda from Lancaster, Richard Roebuck from California; 26 grandchildren, 66 Great grandchildren, 28 Great great grandchildren, Devoted family and friends Richard (Celeste) Holmes, Felicia Drummond, Mark Jefferson, Krista Stephens, Allen Andrews Sr., Rosie Wright, Frances Webb, Arthur Joy Jr., Rosemary White and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Member of Mt. Sinai Institutional Baptist Church. Former kitchen club ministry. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Coke Plant Social Club and Corvette Club. She was involved in starting the East Conemaugh Homecoming and started the community softball leagues with Ethel Coleman. She loved styling hair, family gatherings, playing pokeno, tripoly and bingo. She loved the time spent with our blended families and telling everyone she was “21”.  Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. at Mt. Sinai Institutional Baptist Church on 351 2nd St. Conemaugh on Friday May 23, 2025. Final viewing will be at 10am until time of Funeral Service at 11am on Saturday at Mt. Sinai, Rev.
