Eugene W. Clifford

CLIFFORD--- Eugene W., 69, Johnstown, passed away on November 7, 2020, in Johnstown, after a long struggle with cancer and many other medical issues the Lord has called him to rest. Born in Massachusetts, raised in Vermont, until being drafted into military service in 1971, during the Vietnam war. He served 4 years of active duty with the USN Seabees and 19 years with the USNR Seabees. He worked for the State as a Civil Service employee for 25 years. Survived by his wife of 45 years, the former Lynne May, whom he married in 1975, daughter, Jessica (Tom) and daughter, Valerie; grandson, Kristifer. Also survived by sisters, Susan, FL, Ginny MA, Helena, VT; brother, Philip, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a lifetime member of Seabee Veterans of America, American Legion, an was a past treasurer of Greater Johnstown Touring Club. Gene enjoyed the "Bees," hunting, fishing, bowling and motorcycles.
