Washington, Elizabeth A., “Bettie”, 80, of Richland. Died Feb. 7, 2019, at Allegheny Regional Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born June 12, 1938, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Delroy and Mildred (Buchanan) Slick. Also preceded in death by husband Joseph F. Washington; and grandson, Shane Douglas Schmidt. Survived by children; Robin (Fiancé Brian P. Jamieson), Patricia J, wife of Carl A. Wonders, and Joseph F. Jr. (Bonni); former son in law, David Schmidt; grandchildren, David G. Schmidt, Jessica L. Schmidt, Dianna R. Clark, Rachel L. Wonders, Catherine E. Wonders, Hannah M. Wonders, Sarah G. Wonders, Eric M. Shank, Brian C. Shank, Maria E. Neuland, Cory R. Kuhn and Alyssa J. Kuhn; great grandchildren, Benjamin, Austin, Alexis, Grant, Elise, Story, Jack, Ian, Baylee, Autumn, Elzie, Mason and Oliver. Sister of Harold “Harry” and Carl Slick. Retired Administrative Assistant to Richland Township Police Chief with 33 years’ service. Active member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown. Bettie greatly enjoyed her grandchildren, her cats, “Smoke and Carrie” and watching the Pittsburgh sports teams. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 pm Monday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am Tuesday at St. Benedict Church. Fr.
