Elizabeth C. Terlingo

Terlingo – Elizabeth C., “Betty”, 89, Windber, went to be with the Lord on March 29, 2017 at UPMC Cranberry Campus. Born on May 14, 1927 in Windber, daughter of the late Charles and Madge (Buscaglia) Marino. Preceded in death by husband, Louis Terlingo. She is survived by her loving daughter, Susan R. Saxon, Wexford, PA; grandchildren, Marie E. Saxon, Chicago, IL and Kevin F. Saxon, Charlotte, NC; siblings, Angeline Pieraccini, and Shirley Statler, both of Windber, and Charles, married to the former Margaret “Peg” Bowers, Bluffton, SC; and several nieces and nephews. Betty was a graduate of Windber High School and later from Windber Hospital School of Nursing. She retired from the former Lee Hospital, where she was employed as a nurse in the operating room. Betty was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown. She enjoyed cooking, and was an avid reader. Betty adored her grandchildren. Friends will be received from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Fr. David S. Peles, Pastor. Committal will be at Grandview Mausoleum. The family suggests contributions be directed to Cranberry Place Activity Fund, 200 Lothrop St. 10th Floor, Pittsburgh, PA 15213 in memory of Betty.
