Elizabeth A. Hummel

Hummel – Elizabeth A., 72, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on November 10, 2022. Born on August 20, 1950, in Atlanta, GA, daughter of John D. Boring and Ann L. Webb. Preceded in death by her parents; she joins her youngest son, Matthew, in Heaven along with other relatives.

She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Don R. Hummel, Johnstown; children, Melissa Kerr, Baltimore, MD, Michael (Amber) Onkst, Baltimore, MD, and Addam (Fawn) Hummel, Johnstown; 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Debbie (Raymond) Phillips, Johnstown; brother, Kim (Charlene) Boring, New Florence, PA, and several nieces and nephews.

Liz was a 1968 graduate of United High School. She was a member of Roxbury United Methodist Church. Liz enjoyed being a homemaker and always kept an impeccable home. She loved her entire family, as well as her dog, Handsome Hank Hummel.

At Liz’s request, there will be no public viewing or service. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. The family suggests contributions be directed to the Mary Grace Foundation, 322 Warren Street, Suite #250, Johnstown, PA 15905, in memory of Elizabeth.
