I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. I had the privilege to take care of her at Arbutus before I retired. We hit it off the first year I worked there and have been friends since I would still come to the manor and made sure I would visit her after I retired. We would pick on each other all the time but loved every minute. She was one of a kind and loved her so much for who she was. Going to miss her when I visit the manor.

Expression of Sympathy Apr 8 2019 12:00 AM

What I remember most about is Elaine is her total love & devotion to her granddaugher, (my niece), Jill Purbaugh Minick. She would pick her up in the morning & off they would go on one adventure or another & both returned happy & looking forward to the next "day out with Grammy". Elaine never missed a chance to spend time with Jill & to shower her with love. Everyone who knew Elaine knew she belonged to Jesus & in that knowledge is comfort & joy. I offer sympathy to all those mourning her loss.

I met your heart warming mom when I started my kids in Arbutus Pre-School. Elaine was perfect at that job making the children so comfortable. In the years since we have kept up with each other her always wanting to see pictures and knowing what happened in my kids lives.
Seeing her every voting day was my main reason to go. Your mom and I would sit and catch up. The last day I spent with your mom we sat in the beautiful autum sun on the porch at arbutus talking about everything that happens in life. It was beautiful as your mother. I will miss her! My sincere condolences.

Terry and Renee, Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers at this very sad time in your life. It is so hard to say goodbye to our parents but this is only a temporary separation until we all meet again in heaven. My sympathies to you and your family.
