Edward D. Pennington

Pennington, Edward D., 78, of Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 30, 2018, at Laurelwood Care Center. Born Oct. 6, 1940, in Hong Kong, China. Son of the late Rev. Charles M. and Dorothy (Wahlberg) Pennington. Also preceded in death by siblings: Charles “Chuck”, Carol E. Fry and Thomas M. Pennington. Survived by brothers Douglas F. and John W. “Jack” Pennington; sister in law, Georgia L. Pennington; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ed retired from former Laurel Crest Manor Laundry Department for Cambria County. Member of Memorial Baptist Church. He enjoyed autobody and watch repair, music and hunting. Friends received from 10 am to time of Funeral Service at 1:30 pm Friday at Memorial Baptist Church. Pastor Carl F. Irwin, officiating. Interment at Grandview Cemetery.
