RHOADES----Dorothy A., 92, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on May 19, 2021 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born November 10, 1928, Central City, PA, daughter of Joseph and Verna Roman. Preceded in death by parents; husband, William Rhoades and brother, Donald "Sonny" Roman. Survived by daughters, Christine Kamnikar (Michael), Kathy Rhoades, Karen Ross (Ken) and Nancy Hardy (Bo); grandchildren, Missy (Eric Roehling), Matthew (Julie), Zachary (Colleen), Tim (Julie) Kamnikar; Amy Ross, Kelly (Joseph Mays); Ben (JaTon), Russ and Doug Hardy; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Hardy, Natalie and Hailey Mays, Joshua Roehling, Evan Johnson, Rita Jo and William Kamnikar, Derek and Charlie Kamnikar. Dorothy was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a graduate of Shade High School and a graduate of Mercy School of Nursing. She retired after a forty year career as a dedicated registered nurse at Mercy Hospital in Johnstown. Arrangements will be private.
