Petrosky--Dorothy M., 86, Richland, passed away on March 14, 2026 at Windber Hospice. Born March 18, 1939, in Cambria County, daughter of William J. and Margaret E. (Boothman) Torak. Preceded in death by parents and brother, William R. Torak. Survived by husband, Joseph T. Petrosky, children, Faye Straw and husband, Gary, Richland; Jeffrey Petrosky and wife Denise (Schrader), Richland; grandchildren, John Petrosky and wife, Amanda; Mark Petrosky, Katelyn Urquhart and husband, Ethan; great-grandchildren, Hayden Petrosky and Maisie Urquhart. Also survived by sister-in-law, Sara Katz, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Kathryn Petrosky and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Petrosky. Dorothy was a cosmetologist and owned her own shop, Dorothy's Beauty Shop for over 36 years. She enjoyed spending family time at Deep Creek Lake and helping to raise her grandchildren. Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, followed by Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown, Fr.
