Licht, Dorothy E., “Dot”, 86, of Geistown. Went to be with the Lord on April 12, 2011 at Laurelwood Care Center. She was born on January 30, 1925 in MT. Storm, WV. Daughter of the late Riley and Lula M. (Aronhalt) Kitzmiller. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Licht; brothers, Cecil and Wayne Kitzmiller; sons-in-law, George Johns and Don Martin. Survived by loving sons, George, married to the former Denise Yoder, Blairsville and Larry, married to the former Judith Santiago, Richland Township; grandchildren, Eric, Jason, Marlena and Ryan; sister of Ernest, married to the former Susie Clayborne, Loretta Johns and Pauline Martin all of Johnstown, Alvin, married to the former Eleanor Robel, Ervin, married to the former Mary Myers, James, married to the former Elizabeth Price, and Evelyn Myers all of Blairsville and numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy was a 1943 graduate of Blairsville High School. She was employed as a seamstress at Kay Artley and later retired from Bestform. Dorothy was a former member of Faith Chapel, Moxham. She loved the Lord and enjoyed singing hymns and reading the scriptures. Dorothy also enjoyed sewing, garage sales and loved to look after her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was always there for anyone who needed her. Dorothy’s sons would like to thank everyone who assisted Dorothy during her illness, especially her sister, Loretta and the kind staff at Laurelwood Care Center. Friends received from noon until time of service at 2 P.M. on Saturday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland with the Pastor Peter Norland.
