Donna L. Trent

Trent - Donna L., (Rader), 87, went home to be with our Lord on July 8, 2025, peacefully surrounded by family at her loving home. Born in Johnstown on March 2, 1938, sole daughter of Edward F. and Maldon F. (Mauk) Rader. Preceded in death by her parents and five brothers: Ronald, Fred, Leroy, Tom, and Larry.

Survived by her loving and devoted husband of 59 years, Richard L. (Dick) Trent and two daughters, Leanne Elizabeth married to Richard Cornell of North Versailles, PA and Susan Richelle married to Andrew Nutter of Indiana, PA. Loving Grandma to Sarah and Trent (TJ) Cornell and Bubba to Maura and Brenna Nutter. Also survived by brother Garry and wife Linda, sisters-in-law Reta Rader, Joyce Rader, and Romayne Trent.

Donna was a former medical secretary, Lee Hospital volunteer, receptionist of Mac’s Tire Service, and employee at LaRose Dress Shop. Most importantly she treasured being a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who loved to cook, bake, and entertain her family and friends. There was never a more devoted grandmother who proudly attended and cheered at every event in which her grandkids participated. She was a long-time active member of Elton Zion Church. Donna was a warrior who battled and survived cancer for more than 30 years and strongly advocated cancer screenings.

Friends received from 3–7 p.m. on Sunday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, and from 10 a.m. until the Celebration of Life Service at 11 a.m. on Monday at Elton Zion Church, conducted by Pastor Daryl Penrod and Donna’s nieces, Pastor Ruby Mader and Pastor Abby Shaffer. Entombment at Richland Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations may be made to Elton Zion Church, 1089 Mt.
