Donald "DJ" Shaffer

 Shaffer, Donald J., “DJ”, 55, of Richland. Died suddenly May 11, 2021, at Home. Born July 22, 1965, in Johnstown. Son of Donald and Bettie Ann (Hoffman) Shaffer. Preceded in death by father, wife Ami (McQuaide), and Fiancee’ Joyce Faith. Survived by mother, Richland; son Jacob Shaffer (Fiancee’ Samantha Wilson); Grandson, Roman Shaffer and daughter Erin Shaffer; siblings, Debra (Matt) Macut, Lee Ann Shaffer, Leslie (Mark) Johnson and Kimberly. Also survived by nieces and nephews. 1983 graduate of Richland High School. Also graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. Member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. First and foremost, DJ greatly enjoyed his children and grandson. He also was passionate about riding motorcycles, being outside and loved movies. DJ cherished the time he spent with friends. Friends received 2-8 pm Sunday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland and from 10 am to time of service at 11 am Monday at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. Rev. Scott Klimke, officiating.
