Donald E. Hunt

HUNT – Donald E., 91, Jackson Township, went to be with the Lord on September 4, 2025 at Heritage Ridge. Born on April 7, 1934 in East Taylor Township, son of Ross L. and Gertrude Agnes (Price) Hunt. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, G. Elaine (Hauser) Hunt; siblings, Charles, Clair “Cy,” Richard, Betty Ruth Gillespie, infant sister and second wife, Margaret Gillen. He is survived by his loving sons, David B., East Taylor Township, Dennis E. (Pamela Kromka), Blairsville, PA, and Douglas C., Johnstown; multiple grandchildren, great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Donald was a 1952 graduate of the former Conemaugh East Taylor High School. He retired from Bethlehem Steel and later from Johnstown Wire Technology after 50 years of service as a Metalographist. Donald was a member of the then Emmanuel Baptist Church, where he held several positions and volunteered much of his time. He enjoyed working on cars and traveling to many places across the world including Alaska, Hawaii, Italy, Spain, Turkey and many others. Donald loved spending time with his family. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Funeral service will be held that same day, Sunday, September 14, 2025 at 4 p.m. with Rev.
