Deborah A. Hasse

73, Sidman, went to be with the Lord on January 13, 2024. Born on August 18, 1950 in Johnstown, daughter of William Kenneth and Ethel I. (Miller) Riblett. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald J. Hasse Jr.; granddaughter, Destiny Lynn Faith; niece, Kimberly Brydon-Stevanus; sister-in-law, Carol Riblett, and brother-in-law, Richard Brydon.

She is survived by her loving children, Shawn L. (Shannon) Faith, Windber, Dustin K. (Brandy) Faith, Blairsville, and Cortney A. (Trenton) Tetting, Culpeper, VA; grandchildren, Dalton, Donovan, Doran, Danika, Mikala, Jillian, Kendall, Zoee, Larissa, Devinn, Logan, Jake, Faith, and Dylan; great-grandchildren, Coey, and Ari; sister, Sandra (Henry) Unger, Elton; brother, Rodney Riblett, Erie, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Deborah was a 1968 graduate of Richland High School. She was employed for over 20 years at Adult Education at Johnstown Vo-Tech, where she taught EMT, First Aid, and First Responder. Deborah also was employed with several advertising agencies and bookkeeping for various offices in the Johnstown area. She enjoyed being a member of the Dale Borough Volunteer Fire Company, where she was an EMT and one of the first active female fire fighters. Deb enjoyed various card games, reading, and gardening. She loved her family very much and will be remembered for never missing her children’s various sporting events. Deb exemplified hard work and tough love, who had a distinct sense of humor.

Friends will be received from 3-7 p.m. on Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Thursday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. Randy Landman officiating. Interment will be at Richland Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be directed to Humane Society of Cambria County, 743 Galleria Dr. Ext, Johnstown, PA 15904 in memory of Deborah.
