WOODNORTH---David Robert “Woody,” 62, Johnstown. It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of David R. Woodnorth. David passed away on May 1, 2025 at Conemaugh Hospital following a 5 year battle with cancer. Born February 18, 1963, in Johnstown, son of Donald C. and Patricia (Swain) Woodnorth. Preceded in death by his parents. Survived by his beloved daughter, Kierston T. Woodnorth-Ware and husband, David, Jacksonville, FL.; sister, Donna Davis and husband, Joseph, Patton and brother, Alan and wife, Kim (Seminsky), Johnstown. Also survived by an uncle and aunt, Robert and Margie Woodnorth, New Jersey; many nephews and cousins; and former wife, Patty Wagler and her sons, Devan Replogle and Alex Replogle. David was a 1981 graduate of Westmont Hilltop High School. He had many occupations throughout his life including land and mine surveyor, home construction and remodeling, and most recently as a maintenance worker with the Johnstown Housing Authority. The family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday May 16, 2025 at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Private graveside service will be held at Grandview Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the charity of your choice in David’s memory. David will be deeply missed by all those in his life. Cremation by Laurel Highlands Crematory at Harris Funeral Home. Online condolences may be posted at www.wharrisfuneralhome.com.
