David H. Fyock

 

Fyock, David H., 78 of Johnstown, passed away on Mar. 31, 2022 at Windber Hospice. Born June 7, 1943 in South Fork.  Preceded in death by his parents Melvin and Verna (Heilman) Fyock and his brother, Heil Fyock. Survived by wife of 55 years, Jean (Placek) Fyock; children, Eric and Diana Knapp (Frank), grandchildren, Jessica Barajas (Eliud) and Joshua Knapp and great granddaughters; Roxxanne, Amber, Madison and Anya Barajas, as well as his sister-in-law, Linda (Fyock) Weaver (Sam). Also, survived by many nieces, nephews and their families. David graduated from South Fork Croyle High School in 1961. He previously worked at Calgon Corporation, PENELEC (27 yrs.) and founded MountainTop Technologies, Inc (21yrs). David was a long-time active member of Westmont Presbyterian Church. Friends will be received 4 to 6 pm Sunday at Westmont Presbyterian Church (Johnstown, PA) where service will be held at 6 pm. Rev. Bernard Nti, officiating. Friends also received 6 to 8 pm Monday at Copeland Funeral Home in Coraopolis (Pittsburgh) where service will be held at 11 am Tuesday. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery of Coraopolis. The family suggests memorial contributions to: Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave, Windber, PA 15963 or Westmont Presbyterian Church, 601 Luzerne St, Johnstown, PA 15905 in memory of David.
