Craig S. Slack Sr.

Slack – Craig S. Sr., 75, Richland, went to be with the Lord on May 8, 2025. Born on October 14, 1950 in Johnstown, son of the late Robert J. and Joyce E. (Luther) Slack.

He is survived by his loving son, Craig S. (Megan) Slack Jr.; grandchildren, Jack and Josie Slack; sisters, Cindy Slack and Brenda (Fred) Edwards; aunt, Nancy Gregory; uncle, Terry (Peggy) Luther; cousins and many friends at Richland Towers.

Craig was a 1968 graduate of Richland High School and later completed his LPN Degree at Johnstown Vo-Tech. He was a member of Homestead Avenue United Methodist Church. Craig retired from Interim Health Care, where he was employed as an LPN. He enjoyed fishing, camping, Coney Island hot dogs, and trips to the shore. Craig loved grilling for his family and friends. In Craigs memory, he asked all his friends to listen to Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at noon on Saturday, May 17th, at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Private inurnment will be at Richland Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be directed to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Avenue, Windber, PA 15963 in memory of Craig.
