MORBIT – Concetta “Katie” Grace (Pierre), 99, Richland, passed away peacefully April 22, 2019, with her family’s love. Born on the Immaculate Conception, Dec. 8, 1919, in Windber, to the late Domenick and Adeline (Crognale) Pierre. Also preceded in death by Husband, Paul C. who passed in 1962; and Sisters: Mary (Basil) Trovato, Sue (John) Rullo, Rose (John) Gates, Viola (survived by Albert) Finella, Ellen (Stephen) Costantino, and Jean Pierre; and Brothers: Nick Pierre, Ralph (Nora) Pierre, and Anthony Pierre; and Daughter-in-Law, Nancy Morbit. Survived by her devoted and loving Children: Paul Morbit; Barbara (Sam) Pantano; Loretta Nagy; Delores (Brian) Blackburn; Ralph (Phyllis) Morbit; Grandchildren: Kelly (Tyler) Deller, Paul (Jennifer) Morabito, Vince (Angela) Morabito, Katie (Christopher) Murphy, Philip (Melissa) Pantano, Nicole Nagy, Alan (Nadira) Nagy, Brian (Neda) Blackburn, Natalie Blackburn, Maria Morbit, Julie Morbit; Great-Grandchildren: Brandon and Brooke Deller, Sophia and Olivia Morabito, Gianna Morabito,  Samantha and Cole Murphy, Zoe Pantano, Arriel and Abraham Nagy, Alexander and Elliott Blackburn; Brother-in-Law, Albert Finella; and many loving nieces and nephews.Katie was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother, who provided a warm and caring home to raise her five children after losing her husband at a young age. She was an incredible cook and the family faithfully gathered together for Italian Sunday dinners.  Katie lived a life filled with dignity, grace, humor, and kindness. She was a devout Roman Catholic and lifelong member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber, and a member of the Italian Sons & Daughters of America. Her kind soul has blessed and enriched our lives and she will be missed immensely. Private viewing for family and relatives from 9 to 10:30 am Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home Inc., 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Family, relatives and friends are   invited to attend a Funeral Mass at 11 am Wednesday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber, TOR Franciscans. Interment, church cemetery. Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 2201 Graham Ave., Windber, Pa. 15963, in her memory.
