Cathy Brandle

Brandle – Cathy, 77, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on July 2, 2024 at home. Born on February 27, 1947 in Johnstown, daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Piscatella) Scaletta. Preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Tina and Roseann Scaletta. 

She is survived by her loving partner of 47 years, Dolly (Wadyka) Noles, Johnstown; son, Robert E. (Renee) Brandle, Altoona; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Maryann (Jim) Mangus, Johnstown, Rosie (Duke) Lamb, Richland, and Joann (Tim) Pfeil, Richland; brothers, Joseph (Sharon) Scaletta, Southmont, and Jimmy Scaletta, Chanute, KS, and several nieces and nephews. 

Cathy was a 1966 graduate of Johnstown High School. She retired from Randy’s Bi-Lo, after 7 years of service in the deli department. Cathy attended Windber Covenant Brethren Church. She enjoyed her pets, Roxie and Peanut, as well as watching the Steelers and the WNBA. Cathy especially loved spending time with her family and friends. 

 At Cathy’s request, there will be no public viewing or service. Private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Memorial contributions be directed to the Humane Society of Cambria County, 743 Galleria Dr Ext, Johnstown, PA 15904 in memory of Cathy.
