Catherine R. Hauser

Hauser, Catherine R., 92, of Johnstown. Went to be with the Lord on June 3, 2017. Born Oct. 31, 1924, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Frank and Ellen (Ritchey) Lewis. Also preceded in death by husband, Robert H. Hauser; son Thomas Scott; brothers, Lloyd and Marlin Lewis; and 4 infant sisters. Survived by children; Kate Sumak, Bob, David (Susie) and Trudy (Bryan) Brunner, all of Johnstown; 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Also, numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Locust Grove Church of the Brethren and Scattered Thirties Bowling League. Catherine enjoyed bird watching, baking, games, gardening, wildlife and cooking for family gatherings. Friends received 10 AM to time of service at 11 AM Tuesday at Locust Grove Church of the Brethren. Revs. Michael Christine and John Manges, officiating. Private interment at Mount Union Cemetery, Rose Hill. Family is Being served by Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
