Carlin A. Beri

Beri – Carlin A., 27, Windber, went to be with the Lord on February 11, 2019. Born on March 25, 1991 in Windber, son of Roxanne L. (Shank) Beri, Windber. Preceded in death by paternal great grandparents, James Clifford and Louella McGee; grandparents, Alek and Mary Beri, and uncle, Brian Clark. In addition to his mother and her significant other, Scott J. Crynock, Portage, he is survived by his brother, Joseph A., Windber; maternal grandparents, Robert and Gwendolyn Shank, Windber; aunts, Lisa (Jay) Miller, Gwendolyn Clark, Lucinda Drzewiecki, and Bobby Jo Klinepeter; cousins, John Miller, McKinley Drzewiecki, Zander Songer, and Kimberly Bush, also numerous friends. Carlin was a graduate of United High School. He was a Specialist E4 serving in the US Army National Guard. He promoted respect, love, kindness, generosity, and care to all he knew and loved. Carlin lived life to its fullest! He loved his Irish roots and smiled all the time. Carlin played the guitar and the banjo like his great grandfather, McGee. He cherished and loved his family! Carlin stood upright with his brothers in arms, standing and fallen. He shared broken bones, life flights and triumph across the finish line with his MX family. Carlin soared high for his freestyle MX friends. Lived free, road hard with his MC. He loved you all! Friends will be received from 2-7 p.m. on Sunday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with Chaplain Daniel Hamman officiating. Interment will be at Richland Cemetery with military rites conducted by Pennsylvania Military Funeral Honor Team. The family suggests contributions be directed to Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, Inc., 1117 Country Club Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011 in memory of Carlin. Online condolences may be posted to www.wharrisfuneralhome.com.

Carlin my fondest memory was when you and I would sit and talk in our either period class in Mrs. Stahuras room and talk about metal music. I thought it was so cool how you were into motorcross and had gotten a sponsorship at such a young age. At that time I just knew life was going to take you places! I know its been years since Ive seen you but I always kept up with you through Facebook man. This world couldnt hold you brother you were meant for so much more! Fly high brother! Until I see you again on the other side! Love and best wishes..
