Candice Gene "Candi" Walker

WALKER – Candice Gene “Candi”, (Korenoski), Stevens, PA., formerly of Johnstown. Passed away peacefully at age 75 on July 3rd, 2024. Candi was the beloved Mother of five children and nine grandchildren. She was our angel here on Earth and is no doubt walking among the angels in Heaven now. Candi was preceded in death by her parents, William F. and Nora Gene (McQuaide) Walker, as well as two grandchildren, Dylan and Carson. She is survived by her sons Jamie (Angie) and Kevin Korenoski; daughters Kristi (Rich) Fisher, Korki Korenoski, and Kaci (Jared) Willwerth; brother William (Diana) Walker; and seven grandchildren; Jeremy, Jesse, Kayle, Elle, Kody, Kloie and Kash. Our Mother was the center of our family, the example of love, and the epitome of selfless service. In addition to her immense contributions to our family, she volunteered in numerous capacities across the entire spectrum of the community. From her time at the Make a Wish Foundation, caretaking at Reamstown Park, or delivering flowers for Royers on holidays just to see people smile, she was loved and respected by anyone she touched. The family invites anyone who knew her to attend her service and help us remember her incredible life. The service will be at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 1000 Scalp Avenue, Johnstown, PA on Thursday, July 11th. Visitation with family from 10 am to time of Funeral Service at 11am. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Make a Wish Foundation in her honor.
