McDermott, Bryon K., 46, of Richland. Died July 23, 2011, at Memorial medical Center. Born Jan. 13, 1965, in Johnstown. Son of Robert P. and Linda J. (Buck) McDermott. Preceded in death by father. Survived by mother, Florida; wife, Darla( Kawchak), Johnstown; children: Brent, Johnstown; Robert, Richland. Brother of Thomas R., Florida; and Lisa (McDermott), wife of Chad Bennett, Florida. Uncle of Brandon and Brianna Bennett, Florida; and Amy Kawchak, Johnstown. Also, best friends, Roger and Denise Hirko, Johnstown.1983 Graduate of Greater Johnstown Vo-Tech. Employed by Luciano and George’s Auto Body. Member of ABATE and NRA. Bryon was a great family man and friend who lived life to the fullest. Friends received 3-8 pm Tuesday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Funeral Service will be held at 10 am Wednesday. Those who wish may join the motorcycle funeral procession immediately following the service for Bryon’s last ride.
