Parsons – Harold R., “Bob”, 89, of Richland, went to be with the Lord on October 18, 2025. Born on April 13, 1936 in Beaver Falls, PA, the son of the late Margaret S. Parsons. In addition to his mother, Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Gretchen J. Parsons; brother-in-law, James Gourley; brothers-in-law, Reed Miller, and David Gourley, and sisters-in-law, Joyce Gourley and Sandy Gourley.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Jennifer J. Maslonek (Michael Kosaber) both of South Fork and Rebecca S. (Aaron) Huet of Gibsonia, PA; grandchildren, Cassidy L. Black, Jillian E. Fetsko, and Blake R. Huet; sister-in-law, Joann Miller of Aliquippa; brother-in-law, Donald (Darlene) of Hookstown, PA and several nieces and nephews.
Bob was a graduate of New Brighton High School. He later graduated from Geneva College with a degree in Industrial Engineering. Bob retired from PENELEC, where he was employed as an Industrial Engineer. He was a member at the First Assembly of God Church in Windber. Bob was a US Air Force Veteran during the Korean War. He was a member of the Windber Moose Lodge #349 Loyal Order of Moose and Richland Post #849 American Legion. Bob enjoyed going to Myrtle Beach and golfing. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
At the family’s request, there will be no public viewing. Private burial will be at John Anderson Memorial Cemetery in Aliquippa. The family suggests contributions be directed to First Assembly of God Church in Windber, PA in memory of Bob. The family is being served by the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
