EGGERT---Beverly C., 95, Richland, passed on August 12, 2025 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born March 22, 1930 in Pittsburgh, daughter of Bernard and Marguerite (McCarty) Shier. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 50 years, William A. and brother, Donald Shier. Survived by sons, William D., Timothy D. and Thomas D. all of Richland; grandchildren, Timothy D. Jr., Pittsburgh and Amanda M. Castagnero (Matthew), Vienna, VA; great-grandchildren, Mia Eggert, William and Evan Castagnero. Sister of Alice Pritchett, Washington, NJ. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Beverly was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a longtime member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Geistown. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 18, 2025 at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland where vigil will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Fr. David S. Peles, Pastor. Entombment, Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum.
